“There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.”
It is often said that nature is the best teacher. For a student, it’s the teacher who can answer to all his questions. It’s the teacher that gives the student a direction for a better life. At this point of time, I (the student) am full of ambiguities and uncertainties. Standing at such a junction of life, were every road is unknown, where every destination is distant, I have my own apprehensions about my future. I have questions I cannot ask. I need answers I can’t find.
In my quest for the knowing, I turn to Mother Nature and try to get up close and look for what I am looking for. For that, I travel.
Obviously I don’t expect the mountains to speak up one day and tell me what to do. I travel to learn and grow, to challenge myself, stretch my limits and foster an appreciation of both the world at large and the people waiting for me back home. You are invited to witness what I have witnessed and pass it on to all around you.
And in the words of Lao Tzu, “A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.”
